Citywalk welcomes 2014 and this year they are incorporating the Waterworld and Gibson stages inside Universal Studios Hollywood. The event features live music and DJs beginning at 9 pm with a simulcast of the New York City ball drop, and fireworks viewable from all concert areas at midnight. The event is no longer free. The high parking rates include admission or you can take the Metro or a shuttle and pay a per person admission charge.

Where: Universal City Walk, at the top of Universal Studios Blvd. off the 101 Freeway.

at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. The classic theater’s courtyard will be tented and heated, and multiple indoor rooms will extend the Egyptian theme. DJs will be spinning Top 40 and hip-hop mash-ups to a giant LED light show. A balloon drop and confetti blast will mark the new year.

This event will include live music, dancers, art installations, animated light projections and food trucks in the three block park in Downtown Los Angeles. There will be a bar outside the park in the Plaza at the Music Center.
