Post Parade is a half-mile square park where the Rose Parade floats are exhibited for visitors to view up-close after the parade at Sierra Madre and Washington boulevards in Pasadena. This year, Post Parade will provide an additional day, Jan. 3, for viewing. Post Parade takes place rain or shine.
General admission times are 1 to 5 p.m. Sun, Jan. 1, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mon. and Tues., Jan. 2 and 3. Senior citizens and disabled guests only will be admitted from 7 to 9 a.m. Jan. 2 and 3. Ticket sales end at 2:30 p.m. and guest admittance concludes at 3 p.m. The venue closes promptly at 5 p.m. No pets, bicycles, skates, skateboards or Segways are allowed in the park. Wheelchairs are not available for rent. Tickets are $7 for adults. Children age 5 and younger are for free.
Transportation & Parking
Street parking near the event is limited. Guests are encouraged to use the Park-N-Ride shuttle service. ParkNRide service is offered at these locations:
•Beginning at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 1, Pasadena City College at 1570 E. Colorado Blvd. and Community Education Center at 3035 E. Foothill Blvd.
•On January 2 and 3 beginning at 6:30 a.m., Pasadena City College at 1570 E. Colorado Blvd., Community Education Center at 3035 E. Foothill Blvd. and Rose Bowl at North Arroyo Boulevard and Seco Street.
The majesty and beauty of these floats on television can not compare to seeing them in person. See every seed and flower that has been hand placed on every float. This family friendly event will become a yearly tradition.
