Memorial Day is more than just a major travel holiday for weekend vacations, tourism, and outdoor celebrations. It commemorates the men and women who died while in the military service. A nation moment of remeberance takes place on Monday, May 30th at 3:00pm. So no matter where you are or what your doing stop and remember those who fought and are fighting for our freedom.
The Queen Mary will offer FREE admission to all U.S. active and retired military personnel on Memorial Day. General Admission includes a self-guided tour and the Ghosts & Legends Show.

The meaning and traditions of Memorial Day is to place small American flag on each of the gravestones of the fallen in service to our country at many cemeteries. Many households are now placing the American flags at their homes and some towns and cities hold Memorial Day parades on Monday.
More than 30,000 people usually attend this free annual weekend Street Fair and enjoy different type of foods, Arts & Crafts, free health screenings, free gifts, Carnival Rides Games, Live musical groups, a variety of products, services and information provided by all type of exhibitors.
